    Great Place To Walk

Stunning views and a perfect walk along the ocean. The park is so cute with gorgeous trees. The historical houses are a site to see.

    Beautiful Gardens

Very friendly and responsible dog owners at the park. We kept our dog on a leash because it’s not fenced but he had a great time with the other dogs.

    Nice shady park

Lovely spot to find some shade after a walking tour South of Broad. Stayed for the sunset. Nice photo ops.

    Gorgeous Setting!

We love taking our dog to the park to relax in the shade and read a book. Only complaint is that there is no bathroom close by. Still earns 5 bones for how beautiful it is.

Park (free 2 hr parking) and walk your pup on leash in the grassy area underneath the canopy of the old oak trees covered in Spanish moss or walk the paved perimeter along the beautiful waterfront. We spotted dolphins from the waterfront here. We enjoyed walking our dog here and will definitely be back!

    Watch your step

Park was a lot of fun and the other dog owner were very accomodating (our littlest hss a nipping issue we found out). Only complaint is that the dogs all play in the middle of the park but the dog bags and trash cans are at the entrances so a lot of people don't pick up.

    Beautiful Historic Site

Charleston appears to be a very dog friendly town. This park isn't fenced in, and has many visitors who aren't here with their dogs. We kept Fredthedog on his leash and enjoyed the historic sights and visiting with some local dogs who are more comfortable with this setting.

    Dog

Nobody in Charleston calls it Battery Park. Southern Living Magazine calls it Battery Park, but they don't know any better. Battery Park is in New York.
It is White Point Garden, and if you like squirrels, this is the place for you.
