Fort Mifflin
Guests and leashed pets are welcome to explore three centuries of history at the dog-friendly Fort Mifflin in Philadelphia, PA. This living landmark is one of the only intact Revolutionary War battlefields. Be sure to call or check their event schedule in advance for cannon/musket demos that may frighten skittish animals. Events are held throughout the year that highlight the Fort’s long service to the United States and feature uniformed or period-attired interpretive guides and reenactors. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the shaded, riverfront picnic area.
