    Great area to run

We were on the large side had my black lab Sally with me. We meet quite a few dogs small puppies to large a large doberman. Everyone got along and loved to play ball. Only downside is there weren’t any toys for the dogs there to play with. Thankfully when I travel with my girl I always have toys at hand. When we visit Phoenix again we’ll for sure be stopping back by.

    Nice park, bad dogs

It’s a really nice dog park, big wide open and have a place for your kids to play and also some couts. But my dog 3 month old Red Healer was attracted twice by a 5 month old husky and then was barked at for 2 whole minutes by a Labredoodle or goldendoodle dog, full grown. She was so terrified that she full on ran back to the car. I’m going to try and go back again but I’ll wait till my dog is at least 1 year old.

    Huge!

This was my favorite dog park in the Phoenix area. It was massive, had very little mud, and TONS of dogs were there! Bring bug spray though.

    Decent but....

Decent park with ample play room and some trees. 2 watering stations with buckets through the big dog park area. Plenty of pooper scoopers and people save their grocery bags to hang on the fence which is nice.

Most people are nice with a few between that aren't so pleseant. Had one owner doing the prior sewing circle thing and had to get on her for her dogs being snippy.

Biggest gripe would have to be people like her who sit and dont notice their dogs making poo and not cleaning up after them.

Do keep your eyes out for people who bring their smaller dogs into the big dog section. They don't belong in that section but owners want to socialize with their pals. Most of the smaller ones brought in cause no trouble but be wary.

Watch out for a grumpy duo, Anne the older German shepherd and her pal, Buddy the while poofball of anger. Any dogs trying to play with it near them will get snapped, growled, snarled at and even chomped on while the owner sits there saying she thinks Anne is just mothering and buddy is being picked on. To correct them she'll pop a remote control zapper on them, alternating who wears it. She sits under the tree mid park at the bench.

    Owners Beware!

I have a puppy and took her to the dog park. I have been to this dog park in the past and have had issues with aggressive owners! Avoid busy hours 6pm, etc.

    Comfortable

This park is large and donated by petsmart. There is a very large closed gate fence for large dogs and a smaller then average closed gate for little dogs. Because of the heat I recoment going early in the day or later at night. There were always a lot of dogs when we went, all very playful and responsible pet owners as well. There are poop bags around the fence and trash near the gates for easy clean ups. This is a good stop together to get yourself and your pet tired for the day!

Small dogs have nothing but fun!

99% of any problems with mean dogs happen in the large dog portion. I have been going to the small dog section since the park opened and my 3 dogs love it! Great dogs, great owners, much cleaner than the large section, tables, shade, water. Attentive owners who only want everyone to have fun!!

    Bad owners

We used to go to this dog park, but stopped mainly because of the other dog owners. Yes there is lots of space for your dog to run around, but some dogs there can get aggressive and the owners do nothing. It is mainly the same people there every day and they treat it like a sewing circle caring more about having conversations than what their dog is doing. I have a 7 month old puppy and he has been attacked on several occasions there. I yell for their owner and they don't care they just laugh it off. I don't know about you, but I don't find my dog being attacked funny at all. Dog parks are for the dogs not for your social life. Yes it is perfectly fine to chat, but please keep a eye out for your dog.

    Mean dogs and owners

I went to this dog park today and I was very disappointed. There were mean dogs that kept barking and attacking my dog and the owners wouldn't do anything about it or even talk to me. I won't be going back here. I am very sad that this is happening at dog parks that are supposed to be fun for pet's and their owner's.

    awesome

I have a 4 month old, and he has a great time there. It is a large area where the dogs can run and interact. The dog owners are all friendly, and it is a great place to go to allow your dogs to become more socialable.

    Weim lover

Surprised someone said the dogs are not friendly. I go to this park everyday during the week, and find the same dogs each day, well behaved, and the people are very nice. It is the largest dog park in PHX, green grass, lots of trees.
