Big fenced space, shade and lots of room to run! Our dogs loved it!
- GaleOct 10, 2019Lots of room
The setting is lovely, plenty of trees and grass. There is no separate space for small dogs which is needed. Although dog owners are attentive to their dogs, my small dog is overwhelmed by having multiple large dogs run up to ‘greet’ him and gets very afraid. It’s close to home but I now go a distance to a park with a separate small dog area.

Nice small dog park. Plenty of room to run out a dogs energy.

This park was a MASSIVE find for us. Our dog has always had a blast there. If a dog gets over threshold there is PLENTY of space to get to another part of the park to calm down again. People are very dog-social as well and are very good at actively helping socialization situations, offering toy shares, and helping kids to understand how to act in a dog park. Pups of all sizes can find something great to do here.
Would like to see another water bowl area so there isn't some resource guarding that happens during the summer months, but easy enough to bring a bowl and water to offer that in another location.

The hours are not 5pm to midnight as listed here. Perhaps 5AM to midnight. But it is a great park for dogs and humans. Lots of regulars and never too crowded as it is so large. The best in PDX (if a little off the beaten path but you can always stop in the Humane Society down N. Columbia a few miles down the road).

Partly shaded with chipped trail and picnic benches. Water available. Bring your own bag. Lady loved this park! There were several other dogs; from Mastiffs to terriers. All got along. Friendly owners. Beautiful! A little rugged, just how we like it so our girl can sniff and run!

Nice large place to run or fetch. Nice trail. More time could be spent on the grassy areas they're very rugged with large rocks in the back 1/2 & ruts all over that can trip up a fast dog. You'll find Water, shade & bags

Took my two dogs to Chimney Park today. It is more rustic and natural than any park i have been to. It is not landscaped or manicured aside from the wood chip pathway. It was clean and I liked how large and open it was. The large size allowed for a more casual free roaming atmosphere that my dogs and I enjoyed very much.. It does have water and garbage cans but no poop bags so dont forget them.

The reason this place has high markings is that it's one of the larger fenced dog parks around. I gave it three bones cuz it has many dog holes that have been dug and my dog nearly broke his leg running over one. Water is provided.

Our dog loved this fenced-in dog park. The area with the tall grass was his favorite!! The walking path was nice too, so he could join us for a few laps in the sunny weather. There is a water source but poop bags were not available, hence the 4-bone rating.

We go to this park daily. It is excellent. The main page says there are 16 plus acres of park... this is incorrect information. It is just a hair above 5 acres.
- EricMore than a year agoNice park
Its nice because it has such a large feneced in area. I have been several times and its always clean. It has a ceader chip walking path around the park thats nice if you want to get in a little excersise or do some dog training. The only negative is thats in the industrial area.
