The Branford Trolley Trail near Branford, CT is dog friendly and one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Too Crowded For Covid With Dogs
i think this might be good in regular times because it is cute but the path is WAY too narrow, and for some reason there are tons of bikers on this half mile trail. super crowded and stressful to try to pull the dog to the side each time. Also tons of dogs here off leash, which i didnt love only because it was incredibly crowded so the dogs were to pushed together

Awesome Scenic Trail
Great trail! It’s about a mile long. Great for kids who love trains, you see a few trains. My two dogs loved it! The trails are narrow.

This is a beautiful trail in a salt marsh.Parts of it overlook the Thimble Islands and it is great for bird watchers.It is only .5 miles long.We brought our pit bull mix dog here and she just loved the smells.There are bridges,that can be narrow,but you can see ahead if anyone is coming.A very nice easy walk.
