    LeTort Spring Run Nature Trail

    The LeTort Spring Run Nature Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Carlisle! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the LeTort Spring Run Nature Trail.       Great Location - Not Well Marked

      THe trail is clean but narrow in places and not well marked. There are points that you have to walk several blocks in a neighborhood . It’s a great location with lots of parking in the park area. We had to spend an hour after our stroll pulling off ticks and small burrs.
