    great park

We are very luck to have this park in Moreno Valley. Large enough and plenty of grass and seating. Pet owners are good with their dogs and very friendly. Only thing I wish there was lights for the evening. It gets dark very quickly and is difficult to see, especially leaving the park.

Great dog park in Moreno valley

I didn't know we had our own dog park here in town. I've never been to one actually tI'll yesterday I took my new dog cuz she's more friendly then my other one and what an experienced it was for the pup and myself as well. The park could use some more grass and they need to get rid fo the bees in there but I like the way they divide the big dogs and the little ones. I also love the way the owners of the doggies are so friendly and able to talk to it was a really nice day overall I LOVED IT. Thanks again for putting a doggie Park here and LET'S TELL EVERYONE ABOUT IT SO MORE DOGGIES CAN COME AND PLAY

    Big and small dog areas

It would be nice if the people with big dogs use the big dog area only and let us with small dogs enjoy the park also----

    not bad

Had an issue with aggressive dogs I.E. carless owners and witness several doggie fights which made me uneasy. Nice park for the area but the drive up is not smooth or paved.

    New and Improved

Both little and big dog sides are improved with beautiful grass and agility equipment. There is some shade and plenty of water bowls. There are even scoops and bags stocked for now.

    New Additions ROCK the park!

Park as of Dec 2013 on the BIG dog side has grass, sprinklers, agility track and did I mention GRASS!!! Small dog side has the agility track in place but is lacking grass. The grass is coming though and the small dog side is currently closed until it is in place!
We use to drive to Riverside! No more!

    Needs more love

Its a good park, would love to give it a 5 star, but it sure could use more shade, trees, grass, irrigation etc. That would make the park a perfect 5

    Where are the doggies???

The park is very clean and large. It is all sand, but the larger particle kind so it wasn't so bad as far as the dogs getting all dusty and lifting up dust all over the place. Unfortunately when I went, (evening during the week) there were no other dogs. :( We had fun, but we would have liked it much better if we could have had some friends.
Also, with so much space, I believe it would be feasible to get some kind of agility course or something intersting going on over there. Don't you think?

Any suggestions to make the dog park more appealing?
I"d be curious to hear constructive comments and ideas.

    the middle of nowhere

why is it so far from the city, no shade and totally empty,I would like to see other dogs, there twice on sat at 11.00am, its hard to find and feels like it was just stuck out there with no thought of location,I wish they would building another one in the city that actually feels like a park with some trees, but that will only come about if this one gets more use, but location is so far and it feels so lonely out there.

    Brighter Signage???

I like the park but man, it is hard to find. When located on a map, it looks easy. But when you drive out there, its brutal, even after you find it. I drove around out in the hills trying to get to the dog area. Once there I thought it was great. It IS sand, but I like that. It was very clean. I walked the entire Small Dog Area and picked up all the left-over droppings, and only found ONE fresh pile.

They would do well to fix the shade/bench area as it is up in the hills with no natural shade of its own. The other thing I noticed is that small dog owners need to keep a close eye on the sky and their dogs ~ I spotted two hawks during the short time I was there. Not an issue for larger animals but definitely an issue for anything under 12 pounds or so!

    It's all we have

Well the park is a decent size but it is just sand everywhere. The park is always stocked with bags and the dogs can get fresh water from the fountain. If there was a better choice anywhere near here I'd go there but this is all we have. The park is almost always empty so if you have a skidish dog that you want to be able to roam free for a little while this could be a good place for you.
