Description

Quiet Waters Park offers two off-leash dog parks for your dog's enjoyment as well as a small dog beach. Dogs are also welcome to join you on the park trails as long as they are leashed. The park holds many events throughout the year, and leashed pets are welcome at many of them. If your dog gets dirty, take him or her to the Bark 'n' Bean Dog Wash and Coffee Shop, located right next to Quiet Waters Park.

Great dog beach & beautiful park, worth $6

My dog Yuba and I visited the park last weekend and had a blast. The dog park up the trail is large and has plenty of shade and seating. The dog beach is small and decently secluded - unfenced so make sure your dog has good recall. There weren't any issues with roaming dogs for the two hours I was there. Sandy beach, rocky jut out, gentle tide, shallow water. We had a blast!

    Dog Beach Open!

Nice park, with separate areas for large and small dogs, fresh water and toys (some) available. Good group of dogs on a regular basis. Despite some reviews saying the dog beach is closed, permanently closed, etc. the beach is open and available as of July, 2016. It's a nice area for the dogs to play, although not fenced in as the dog park up the hill is.

Dog beach is now open! (July 2016)

The beach is now open again (as of July 2016). it is modest size, shallow water perfect for dogs. Isolated enough from rest of the park. People are not supposed to swim with their dogs but everyone does. There is a paved trail to it.

    Dog Beach Closed

They shouldn't advertise the park with pictures of dogs playing at the beach. As of June 12, 2016 the beach is closed and they are not planning on reopening.

    Beautiful park

Although the dog beach is closed (erosion), we still had a lovely afternoon walking the many, many trails. We are not fans of off-leash dog parks because people generally don't pay good attention to their dogs, Quiet Waters has a large dog and a small dog area with double gates. The large area even had a baby pool in it. We were there early afternoon and the large dog area was in good use (but, like I said, several people not paying attention to their dogs.)

We'll absolutely go back to walk more of the trails!

dog beach still closed as of 3/27/15

The dog beach has been closed for years. Still closed as of 3/27/2015. The dog park at quiet waters is nice! $3 entry to get into the park. Lots of trails to walk on if you want to get exercise too. It's nice that they have a well with fresh water the dogs. Also on the other side of the park There are canoe & SUP rentals and they let me take my dog out on the paddleboard with me!

    Great Park

I took my 1yr old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel there today and he had a great time. There is both a small dog/ big dog section to the park. We started off in the small dog area which is a decent size with benches for people to sit and plenty of shade. Once he was comfortable we went to the big dog section and all the dogs were friendly, the owners were on top of them to behave well, there was running water with bowls and plenty of cleanup supplies. My dog is definitely sleeping well tonight. The dog beach is still closed however. Park officials said it MIGHT be open for the 2014 summer season. Visited 9/20/13. You have to pay $6 to get into the park but they let us in for free as a trial to see if we liked it or not. very friendly people. Would give it 5 bones if the beach were open.

The Bark Beach is closed 2013

I saw that the beach was closed as of March 2010, I called June, 2013 and the staff said the Bark Beach is still closed and no other information is available. Bring Fido should just take the beach off the site all together.

    Doggie Beach Permanently Closed

The "Bark Beach" at Quiet Waters Park is permenantly closed due to erosion. They don't have plans to reopen it. They small and large dog areas are fantastic, though! Lots of shade, running water, plastic pools, etc. It's a great park and you're usually in great company! They even have dog-park-police there to make sure everyone can enjoy the park.

    Beautiful Park

This park is wonderful, although the beach is still closed and will be for awhile due to erosion. Lots of walking trails and a great fenced in off-leash area to play. Bring your lunch and enjoy the walking trails! We will be back.

    Nice park - Dog's loved it !!

Dog park was very tidy, dog owners were very friendly and curtious. Our dogs loved this park, the dog beach is a nice walk away from the park down a nice path, the beach is small but the dogs enjoyed it and left exhausted. The entire park area is very nice and very well maintained.
