The entire Stern Grove area is a really a nice place to bring the dogs. They can play in the open space or hike around with you through the grove, meadows and picnic areas. It is also one of my favorite places to take portraits of my dogs and my clients with their dogs.
- EmilyMore than a year agoLarge dog park
This park is huge, with a lot of space to roam. With that being said, this park is more for one on one time with your pup. Not a lot of dogs really play with each other, and a lot of the regulars here have really chill dogs. Every now and then my dogs will find someone to play with but it doesn't last for long because the park is so large that a lot of owners prefer to keep walking.
Apparently a lot of coyotes also, so if you go farther back towards the trees, please leash your small dog.
- ElisaMore than a year agoHuge flat space
There is decent parking, which is one of the reasons We go there. It is a huge flat area that gets muddy easily. It is great if your dog likes playing fetch because you can make her run a lot. However, I seldom see enough dogs for my dog to play with. He likes to "wrestle" and this is not the right spot. But for dogs that like to play on their own or with their human, it is good. They both can walk by the edge of the grove as exercise, too.
