Conewago Recreational Trail

The Conewago Recreational Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Elizabethtown! The map below shows a trailhead where you can pick up the Conewago Recreational Trail.     Walking Trail

    Great trail, well maintained and an easy walk. Lots of smells to sniff and friendly people to walk past. Good for leash and command training because there’s usually a number of distractions. Also easy parking. No trash cans or dog bags so bring your own and please take it with you!
