Clearly a local’s favorite with all the dogs that come to play and exercise. For the traveler, there is easy access to the interstate highway. A spacious, clean, well maintained park that offer all the amenities you need, especially shade and water. Since it’s such a popular park, odds are great of finding a playmate for Fido. Large, walking trail on the perimeter, too. It has everything one is looking for in a dog park.

While traveling, we stopped at this park because it was on the way. It’s a very well maintained park, with a very large area for all dogs. However, my dog was attacked at this park. Another dog picked up my dog’s ball, and their owner took the ball away and gave it back to me. He was explaining to me that his dog can be aggressive if another dog tries to take the ball from him. While that happened, my dog came up to me, and their dog attacked my dog. We left immediately. If going here, be aware that some owners do not have control of their animals, and will admit it to you.

We live in Sioux Falls and love going to this park! We bring our Pitbull every day we can. We have made a lot of friends there and most of the people are nice but we have encountered a few not-so-friendly people and dogs alike. But you will find those things at any park or public place. We love the large area and that there is plenty of shade when it is hot. Would definitely recommend this park to anyone with an energetic, friendly pup!

We are on a cross country road trip and decided to give the highly rated part a try. Our Ruger is a 40 pound/ 5 month old lab. He is well behaved, but still an energetic pup. We were barely inside the fence when a few friendly dogs came to meet the new guy. He was so happy and excited. Then out of nowhere a large dog enters the picture, grabs Ruger by the head and slams him to the ground. Through his terrified screams, it took me and a kind bystander to get this dog off my pup. Others were screaming “who owns this dog”! A guy walks up, takes his dog from us and walks away... not a word. I wouldn’t give this park two bones if it weren’t for the for the other owners there that helped us out. Thankfully Ruger is fine. But if this is how some owners act at this park.... I’d stay as far away as possible. Just not worth it!

We stopped at this park on our way through Sioux Falls and liked it so much we stoped again on our way back. Clean park that is easy to find and located close to the highway. Makes for an easy pit stop area to stretch your pups legs when traveling. We even met a few local pups and got to play for a bit.

Wonderful park with separate fenced areas for large & small dogs. Lots of space to walk and play. Very well kept park with plenty of parking. Dogs all played well and very attentive owners. A great place to discover on our trip trip from Washington.

We were visiting the area and our dog needed some play time. We just loved this park. It's big and plenty of room for our dog to run with the other dogs. He had a ball running and wrestling with his new friends. The dogs and people were friendly. We loved how clean and well cared for it was too. Easy to find and good parking.

The Spencer Dog park is right off the highway, so it was easy to find. There is a small-dog and a big-dog area. Both are a good size, definitely room for our 70+ lb dog to run around and play fetch. There are water stations for the pooches and plenty of benches for the humans. Right outside the park is a trail that was filled with runners, walkers, and bikers.

I LOVE this park! I absolutely love that the small dogs and large dog are seperated. I have a Doxie that gets agressive around large dogs. So now I can have a good time without worrying about my dog being agressive.

My dog and I really like this park. I love that the small and large dogs are separate. However, I live on the west side of Sioux Falls and find driving 14 miles round trip is a little to far to enjoy to oftern. Is there a chance that the west side could get the same type of park on the west side of the city?
