    Allegany State Park is a pet-friendly recreation area in Salamanca, NY, where you and Fido can enjoy bird watching, picnicking, fishing, snowshoeing and canoeing. Dogs are welcome to join you for a hike on the trails, but they must have proof of a current rabies vaccination and be leashed and cleaned up after during your visit. Pups aren't permitted in buildings, cabins, bathing areas or cross country ski areas, but they're welcome at the campground, which has a dog walk area. Visit Website
