my doggo LOVES this spot. Met very friendly dog friends. Room to roam. It was a bit slick getting up and down the entrance in dec, but worth it!

Off the highway this off leash is a bit tricky to find but plenty of street parking nearby. Dry dusty trail down into a small canyon with a creek/watering hole. Good sized park, lots of dogs and fenced in except at very top. Too much dog poop on and along the trail. No reason for it - plenty of bag dispensers and trash cans. We liked the size of the space but it needs to be better maintained by its users

people need to pick up after their dogs and dispose of it properly. there is dog poop and bags of poop all along the trails. sad!

There is a long trail for you, with wide open space for your pooch to run. I did ask one of the locals for guidance, because the entrance spot from the parking lot looks a little hidden. All the people and dogs are friendly.

This place is amazing! There is endless room for dogs to romp and play and explore! There were hundreds of dogs there but it didn’t feel crowded. This is exactly what my dogs need!

What a great find! We made it to the end where the watering hole is located. Wow! What a lot of fun we had with my sons and both pups! We hiked through the river back down to the next access point and man was it fun. Very adventurous play for both dogs! The were chest high in the river a few times but nothing so treacherous that we all couldn't tag right along too! I highly recommend this place to have some real adventurous fun with your pup that is still very safe and away from the hustle and bustle of cars and such!

This is a great dog park. It was a bit tricky to find at first as we are not from SLC but after we learned the "fast left" off the highway it worked. I loved the fact that it was not a manicured park as I have a Beagle. She was thrilled to tromp through the brush. I would have rated higher but we only got to the west side. It is worth knowing if you are traveling through or visiting and need a stretching break for your dogs.

We moved to SLC within the last year and just discovered this park. It is a great find, and I recommend it to everyone with a dog who loves to run free and socialize. It is a great setting with lots f water and open space, and there are just tons of friendly dogs for your best friend to play with!

What a fantastic park! Great hike for people and even better for the dogs.

I love this park!! My pup has such a blast running around with the other dogs and chasing after balls and sticks that we throw into the water. There are many mountain bikers that frequent this park as well and its important to clean up after your dog so we can continue to enjoy this park as an off-leash area. It is one of the few in Salt Lake and it needs to stay that way! Definitely a must try park; Especially if your dog loves the water...They will love this park!
