Lady Bird Lake

Lady Bird Lake is a very pet- and people-friendly destination. The downtown area of the trails are beautiful and go on for miles. Fido will love to run along Lady Bird Lake and chase the small paddle boats that float by. Visit Website

Safe place to walk with a water fountain

My pups don’t really like swimming, just walking so we didn’t care about the blue algae warning. Anyhow, there is a dirt trail that made their paws so dirty but we didn’t care since they loved it. but a paved sidewalk/walkway is also available. We parked close to the playground then took the loop to the bridge.

    Be careful of summer algae.

Multiple dogs have died due to summer algae blooms at Lady Bird Johnson Lake. can effect humans, especially children, as well.

Great place to walk your dog

Very nice trail...not very many places to sit and rest, but my dog had lots of fun!
