[Translated from French] Nice place with grass and kayak launch, but the beach next door is off limits to dogs.
- CaitlynJun 18, 2024Beautiful!
My girls absolutely loved it! We stayed off to the side out of where people were swimming, but there were some dogs swimming where everyone was and it didn’t seem to be an issue. No hugely over crowded with dogs when we went so my girls were able to have most of it to themselves which was wonderful!

my dog Rosie loves playing in the water!
- StephanieMay 30, 2022Perfect beach area for my pup!
For starters this water is so clean! And my dog who is just learning to swim had a blast. We kept him on the leash, but there were so many well behaved off-leash dogs going in for a swim. Perfect lake for your dog!!

Everything about this lake and the surrounding views are beautiful. Main Street is absolutely adorable and my dog had a great time in the lake by the beach! It’s a perfect walk! Stop by Emma’s icecream- they have puppy ice cream!
- AmandaJun 27, 2021Great spot for us!
My dog is blind but that does not stop his adventures! We went to the lake for kayaking. He did great and loved it. Met another dog who was enjoying the dog beach!
- MikeMore than a year agoGreat fun
The dog beach is easy to find and great for an active water dog. Area is sandy and even though there are many swimmers there they all accept and participate with the dogs swimming in this area. On a recent visit we went to the dog beach every day and our lab played and swam until she was exhausted. A couple of distance swimmers when exiting the water joined in her play time .
- DeeMore than a year agoDogs do have their day at Mirror Lake
The dog beach is away from the public entrance. The signs are to keep people from walking through the entrance by the playground. As you are facing the public beach it is off to the right. It is directly across from the 15 min. boat unloading area. Many dogs swim there as well as future Ironment. Enjoy!
