    Great park

This is a great park to walk your dog while visiting Toronto area. There is a big part of the park that allows off-leash.

Great place for dogs to explore

Nice off-leash dog trail. There's a little pond for dogs to play in, and lots of beautiful nature. It's also a good place to meet other dog owners!

    A great urban dog park

A series of semi-enclosed trails winding through a forest that is being re-naturalised. Nice and cool in the summer, out of the wind in the winter. Also connects with an extensive set of on-leash trails. One warning: the trails are not maintained in winter, so they can get a bit treacherous during met/freeze cycles. Still lovely, though.

    great well maintained trails

The wide fenced trails remind us of high park and like high park some of the fences have been compromised and small dogs can get through many of the repair jobs.

It is a 150 yr old forest that is being regenerated back to Native Fauna. It is best to keep your dog to the trails.

There are hills and stairs through steep areas a great place for a walking / jogging workout - accessible in some areas - circular pathways if avoiding the stairs.

We avoided the rain by walking through the paths - fantastic! Urban jungle.

    Off-leash dog trail

The off-leash dog trail is different than the usually off leash park that we've been too. More to see and do and smell and explore. The entrance gate doesn't close and there are areas where the fences are bent back allowing dogs to escape into the forest, so if your pup isn't the best listener, it's best to keep them on leash.
