My dog loves it here. It's our fave go-to spot. There are bowls and water fountains for dogs and humans (please refrain from drinking about the bowl unless you walk on all fours). Restrooms are located near the entrance. There are designated off-leash areas for your pooch. Lots of dogs running around but people are friendly and will separate dogs getting out of hand quickly. I have had nothing but good experiences here. There are also several areas where you can obtain bags for doggie waste, along with trash cans either in the same place or nearby.

In addition to acres of off leash walking, swimming and play, there is a lovely cafe and doggie spa! If you dog gets muddy, they can get a grooming while you eat lunch on the sunny patio.

There is such a thing as too many dogs.... This isnt really a beach, which is what i expected, maybe that is why i was so disappointed in part, plus it was sooo crowded!
A lot of dogs were off leash, uncontrollable dogs, which probably added to the chaotic/crowded feeling. This place is basically a gravel & dirt trail that goes along the shore. Some dogs were in the murky muddy water, which they seemed to enjoy. On the plus side, on a clear day, you can get nice view of San Francisco & the Golden Gate ???? - MikeMore than a year agoSo many dogs!
This park is amazing. From the instant you park your vehicle there are tons of dogs in sight. This park has two parallel paths the run on either side of a canal (which some dogs were swimming in) heading into the bay. The whole area is off leash and all the dogs seem to just go from one to the next just saying hi and moving on with their walk. Our pup Holly (German Shepherd) had an amazing time with little pups to huge hounds!
