Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic)
The Barri Gotic, or Gothic Quarter, is an area within the boundary of the Roman city, which is surrounded by a 30-metre-high wall (built to protect the city from Barbary Pirate raids). Because of these raids, the streets in the area were designed in a maze so the raiders would get lost easily. Today, the Barri Gotic is full of interesting shops, restaurants and courtyards, where you and Fido will enjoy getting lost for the day.
