Taft Sunset Railway Trail
The Taft Sunset Railway Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Taft! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Taft Sunset Railway Trail. I love our rails to trails bike path. However, we don't use it as much anymore because we found a fenced in off leash park with a trail in another town so we go there . It is a bummer since the bike path is right out my back gate. We have huskies, who love to run.
