    Went on a slow day~

Not the most well-kept in the dog park area in my opinion but I like that they have paths in the backwoods and water that my pup can splash around in. I went yesterday (on a Sunday) and we were the only “big dog” there...I think it was so empty because of the heat though, I’d like to go back when it’s cooler and a little busier!

    Not Much

We were the only ones at the park today. The water fountain didn’t work (for dogs or humans). There were several holes dug by dogs, one rather large. Lots of mud around the holes and around drains. There were also several repaired holes in the fence. If you have a small dog, be sure to inspect the fence. We were disappointed in the quality of the dog park.

Xtremely Busy Locals And Tiny Dogs

That's how I would describe the people for whom this dog park would be appropriate. The grass is very healthy and there are benches to sit on. You would meet friendly neighbors and get it done. For me, a traveling visitor, however, the enclosure was too small and it was too crowded in the sense that there was a sick dog present with diarrhea, adding to that the places where people hadn't cleaned up previously, and there was no where clean enough for my dog to roll in that beautiful grass nor room enough for her to break out of the main group and play with dogs she might have chosen. Oh well, it's a start. I'm so glad the dogs are getting the attention now. I recommend nearby Fowler Park when you have more time. They have trees and more room to play though there were tiny dogs in peril of being run over by the big ones there. Maybe Windermere is better for the littlest pups.
