    Spacious park with friendly people

We love coming to this park primarily for the kind people! With our pup in that awkward ‘middle’ stage, we frequently go back and forth between the big and small dog sides. Both sides are spacious enough and fun. The handlers on the big dog side are very friendly and kind enough to allow a puppy to join in with their bigger dogs. They’ve been very helpful with offering advice to introducing our pup to bigger dogs and also letting us know which dogs play rougher so we can move to the small side if needed. We will continue to go back frequently and look forward to our pup getting bigger and being able to keep up with his new big friends!

Messy smelly noisy and mean dogs

Just about everyone you ask will tell you how aggressive some dogs are and how ignorant their owners are, neither have any manners or professional training. it's also a disgusting mess, smelly, noisy you can even hear police practicing killing people, gee not traumatic at al for a dog wanting to play!

    Great park

Conveniently located right NEXT to the animal control building, which is great. They have a hose from the building over to the inside of the park to use with the kiddie pools, so your pup can cool off. There are 3 separate entrances to get in the all dog area, and there's a separate fenced in small dog area. Both parts have plenty of seating, and there's a fair amount of shade. This park seems well-maintained and is always clean. I actually drive more than a half hour to come here instead of the parks in my area. My pup loves it too😊

Good park, but you must watch your dog!

Large, off leash park. Has a fenced in area for both large dogs and a smaller fenced in area for small dogs. Plenty of seating for dog owners, lots of toys, kiddie pools, agility tunnels, a gazebo, and access to fresh water. Most owners and dogs are regulars and are very friendly.
Beware of aggressive dogs as many owners do not watch their dogs here. There is poop along the fences in both the small dog and large dog areas. I do not suggest going here on the weekends as it is very busy and people do not monitor their dogs.
Best times to go are early in the morning and late in the afternoon on weekdays. Parking is good and the park is not too busy during these times.

Nice area but some dog bullies

Most dogs and owners are very friendly here. If possible, I'd recommend going on a weekday to avoid overcrowding. Like most dog parks there are some dog bullies here who, for whatever reason, hone in on one dog and pick on them, sometimes with other dogs joining in. For the most part owners are good at stopping this but I've had to get between a few interactions with no help. Make sure to keep an eye on your dog and speak with the owner if you see this happening!

    Well Maintained

Dogs are as friendly as their human owners. Water available, poop bags as well as a small dog play area. Plenty of parking.

    great park

This park is large and securely fenced with a small and large dog section. We definitely enjoy the water hookup and kiddie pools in hot weather. Trees are nice for shade and an assortment of old lawn chairs are nice for the humans in attendance. Usually very busy and my one complaint has been a group of chain smokers monopolizing the gazebo area and polluting my pup's lungs any time she needs a drink or a break in the shade.

    Good Park

The people and dogs are very good at the park. The fenced in area is very large and the small dog section is very large as well. The park itself has some good features, there are plenty of water bowls, a few water pools, obstacles, benches and a shaded bench area for the humans as well as an elevated deck area in the center. Rating is 4 bones only because the park would be nicer if cleaned up a bit and if a drain was put in closer to where the water is so that the mud stream doesn't form. It is also a little dusty so more grassy areas would be nice too. My dog does love to go and most of the people who go are responsible with their dogs and few incidents occur.

    Great park

I go to the derry dog park daily and it is a great place for dogs of all sizes. For the most part owners are considerate and watch their dogs carefully. The park is clean and even has water for the dogs. Next to the park behind the animal control is a river that is very clean and the dogs regularly swim in it. I would and have recommended this park to everyone I know who has a dog

    Handler

This park is awesome. The nice part is there are many regulars that attend almost daily. The dogs get to know each other and become friends with their dog peers. It is clean, well maintained.
Some of the dog owners do go around and pick up dog poop making sure its totally clean before they leave if they are there for a long time.
