    Welcoming

It's not only dog friendly, but I found the staff to be very welcoming. They even gave my pup a treat in the gift shop.

Dog friendly yes, but dog fun no

Yes the structure is neat, but not that much to look at. Yes you can bring your dogs in the shops but probably more small dog friendly per tight and crowded. If you are into museum type stuff with a small pup you will probably like, just wasn't a fir for us

    Manitou Cliff Dwellings

Pretty sure the cliff dwellings have been patched over or are fake. But they're good and they're interesting and the dog can go, so move on. The gift shop is AMAZING and huge and has so much ART and stuff. If you want to take time to read all the info at Manitou Cliff Dwellings you'll learn a lot. Pup loved it!

Fun and Education for the Whole Family

Dogs are welcome to enjoy the whole site as long as they remain on a leash. My dog enjoyed this as much as my kids and I did. Lots to keep us all interested and moving around. We laughed as he really appeared to be checking out the displays and shops and dwellings.

    Super Interesting

These cliff dwellings are a must see as they are super interesting. They are very dog friendly, allowing us to take our dog through the museum and dwellings. There was no grass or any other area for our for our dog to do his business, but the terrain doesn’t naturally lend itself to grass do what can you do. It’s a great place to visit, highly recommended.

    Great history!

My pup and I visited Manitou Cliff Dwellings a couple of days ago, and it was wonderful. It was probably the most dog-friendly place we went on our trip to Colorado -- dogs are allowed ANYWHERE people are allowed, even in the museum and gift shop. They even gave my pup a couple of treats, and it was truly a great experience. The museum was very cool to see, as were the historical cliff dwellings. I'd highly recommend visiting here, whether you're human or canine!

    Tight Spaces

The Cliff Dwellings were very dog friendly - there wasn't a place we could go that she couldn't. However, the spaces were very tight, so it was sometimes hard to navigate with her, but the staff was friendly and she enjoyed the love. Not sure I would go back. The cliff dwellings were neat, but the internet made it seem like they were a lot larger and had more of them, a little disappointed with how little there was.

    Exploring

This place was really interesting to check out. There weren't very many dogs which we were happy with. Some parts of the inside of the buildings are very small to squeeze through with your dog. My younger dog needed a little push to go through some of the hallways with it being so small. There isn't a place for pups to go potty that we could find, so heads up there. All around it was really cool to be able to take the dogs there

    Seriously dog-friendly

I"d recommend going in the morning before it gets too crowded as the dwellings themselves are small. It was pricey but worth it for us to be able to take the dogs along. You can take your dog everywhere, even into the museum and gift shop. Some great photo-ops are possible here...we would have stayed longer but it was too hot for the pups.

    Crowded

This was a fun experience for our dog, my husband, and me. It was a little crowded when we went. I didn't like people acting like they were scared of our dog! I was thinking.. come on people, do you really think we would bring in a vicious dog? Our 9 1/2 year old boxer had a blast. The price is definitely a little pricey for what you are looking at but worth it since our dog got to go with us. We could tell her thought he was pretty special.

Educational For the People, Great Exploring for the Dog

This place is SUPER on leash dog friendly. You and your dog can walk in the "ruins" and in the gift shop. The whole family had a great time. It is a little pricey, but definitely interesting, and informative.
