    Perfect spot for zoomies

This park was perfect for my boxer pup to get some energy out. She made friends with everyone the humans were attentive and kept up with their dogs. I can see where it might be less ideal for smaller dogs bc there wasn't a separate small dog area, but it was definitely perfect for us. There is a trash can right outside the gate.

A big gravel Square, not good for small dogs

this is the first time that the photo app has kind of steered me wrong. The park is really not a park. It’s a large rectangle filled with dirt and some gravel. There are no garbage cans inside the square so if your dog poops, which any dogwood, you have to hold it until you leave the park. It’s also really built just for big dogs, and they’re very sweet to my little dog and my little dog under the gate and get out so we didn’t spend very long because I was worried about them getting hit by a car. The “park” is very close to the street. They really should have a warning on it that it’s not for small dogs. And it’s not a park

    Nice Dog Community

We have visited Valley Street a few times on our travels though Portland. There's an open field and wooded slopes for your pup to explore. I met some of the nicest people here, and my dod liked the other pups too.

Awesome Spot To Get Your Dogs Energy Out!

My husband and I were visiting Maine with our 8 month husky mix. This was the perfect spot to meet a few other dog friendly pups and let her roam around before going to a few breweries. Well kept and water was available!

    Great park

Before Robin's Garden opened in Lewiston, I used to drive down every weekend to let my dogs run at Valley Street. It's a great community, people and dogs were always well-behaved, the park has running water, and it is plenty big enough for them to run, play ball, play with one another, and have a great time.

    Valley St. Dog Park

My husband & I were looking for a nice place to bring our dog Rouga to pay & have fun. We took him to the Dog Park on Valley St. in Portland. We got there and seen no one was there so we pulled in to let our dog play. We were not to sure how Rouga would act around other dogs. When other people showed up with their dogs we were going to leave but the other nice people said lets see what happens. We then watched to make sure the dogs weren't going to fight. The great thing was not any of the did even after even more dogs showed up they all just played to well together. We started bring Rouga there daily to help him wear off some of his energy. We stay for about a 1/2 hr to 1 hr. and that wear Rouga out to the point he doesn't want to jump on people or be cooped up in the house all the time and he made so many doggie friends. Everyone that goes there in the morning when we are there are good to each other and they keep a good eye on there dog or dogs.
