Located within Bijou Community Park, this dog park features off-leash areas for both small and large dogs. It is approximately 38,000 square feet of fun for dogs and their owners alike. A great place for socializing (both people and dogs); the dog park has grass areas, plenty of shade, benches for relaxing, pet sanitary stations, and water.

  Dusty Dog

  This is a nice open dog park. However my white dog is brown with dirt. There is no grass.

  Nice Park

  There are three parks all in the same area. One is for agility and has wood chips on the ground. One is larger for dogs to run and play with wood chips on ground The other small dog park has grass. All are very nice and appear to be kept up.

  Misleading pics

  Don't believe everything you see here. The pics are from day one. No grass at all in the big dog park. Very dirty and dusty. Our dogs were infected by something last time there. Be wary...

  Nice Park

  Don't be confused...both listings are talking about the same park. The Big Dog park is a great size but it has dirt and bark rather than grass like on the little dog area next door. Really friendly regulars are there to give advice about places to go. I gave it 4 bones instead of five because a lot of people there do not clean up after their dogs.

  I haven´t been there but what I have heard from everyone it just sounds terrific! Going to Tahoe in a few months and totally bringing my German Shephard to visit the dog park

  Tahoe dog park is great!

  The new South Lake Tahoe dog park has been getting lots of use. With two separate areas for large and small dogs, water, benches, and shade, it's a great place to bring friendly dogs so they can make new friends and get some exercise.
