Ben Tyler Trail is a 10-mile hike in Pike National Forest that will take about 10 hours to complete with Fido round-trip. The trail is very steep most of the way, but there's easy access to a creek most of the way, so Fido will have plenty of opportunities to cool off throughout the day.
