Brookside-McCurdy Trail
The Brookside-McCurdy Trail in Pike National Forest near Fairplay, CO is dog friendly. An out-and-back trail extending 14.9-miles, hikers should prepare for an 8 hour excursion with Fido. This trailhead follows a creek into the Lost Creek Wilderness for 7 miles and much of the trail is in the forest, so there is plenty of shade along the way.
