Ceran Saint Vrain Trail

This 4-mile, pet-friendly hike in Ward, CO, runs along a creek and is most popular (and beautiful) in early June when the calypso orchid is in bloom on the forest floor. Round-trip, the Ceran Saint Vrain Trail will take Fido about 4 hours to finish; 5 hours if you continue on to the Miller Rock summit, which provides an awesome view from an equally impressive pile of boulders. Dog Heaven!
The full trail is 4 miles (out and back) but we only went 1.5 total because we have a senior dog. He loved the trail and being able to stop and swim!

Favorite dog hike
my dog loves the water and the river running beside the trail was perfect. Everyone o. The trail was super nice. Most people had their dogs on a leash, and all were well behaved.

Nice dog hike
Lots of water for the dogs to get into and play along the way, plenty of shade, nice views at the top.
