Shields Peak Trail
Shields Peak Trail is a dog-friendly hike in Angelus Oaks, CA. This trail is known to be extremely difficult, 12.2-mile hike in San Bernardino National Forest that will take about 7.5 hours to complete with Fido. Heading into the San Gorgonio Wilderness and getting to the San Bernardino Divide is difficult on any trail. Even the most conditioned dogs will struggle on this trail. There are two springs on this trail, but you will want to bring extra water along and check your dogs paws often.
