    Great place to hike

We come here often. All the dogs I see were off leash here. There are streams where your pup can cool down. Sometimes you will see horses here as the stable is right next door.

    horses

Kitchewan would be great for hiking with your dog is they limited the amount of horseback riding occurring there. There is a consant supply of horse poop to dodge on each trail. Would be wonderful if the horse riders would police their animals defecation like dog owners are expected to. Most dogs encountered here have been friendly, but there are some regulars that you encounter that do not have friendly pooches! Ticks have not been too bad in past, but mosquitoes here are very numerous.
