    Great hike!

This was a great hike. Dogs loved playing in the water on the trail path. Does have some steep hills, and was sometimes difficult for my Boston Terrier (had a few large rocks that I had to pick her up for). But, didn’t phase my Doberman. I would highly recommend this trail.

    Beautiful View But Strenuous Trail

The sites on this trail were beautiful but the trail itself is pretty difficult especially in the rain. It took us about 2 hours to complete with allowing our dogs to stop and play in the water. It is very rocky with lots of rocks being loose. There is also lots of roots. We went in the rain and I would not suggest doing so as it was so slippery. There was a handful of fallen trees over the path as well which is why I give it 4 bones. My dog had fun and is a pretty good hiking buddy.

    Best Kept Secret!

This is one of the most underrated hidden gems off blue ridge parkway. One of the most beautiful waterfalls in NC. My dog had a great time!

    Fun hiking trail!

Note: Not for beginners. Very rocky for half the trail. Not impossible though! We and the dogs had fun. The falls were beautiful and the path crossed a creek the dogs could walk through.
