Great place to hike with your dog!
But please keep your puppy on a leash especially between September and New Years. During that time it is deer season and most of the trail runs through public game land.
Remember though just because your dog is friendly doesn't mean someone else's dog is. It's not just a safety issue but you can and will get a ticket from the local game warden or park ranger if they see you as it is against the law to have them off leash. - KarenJul 30, 2018Lake Swim
We took our puppy to Falls lake Swim beach and had a wonderful time. Your dog can swim in the lake out side of the roped area to the left or right. You can also hike the trails. Bathrooms are available as well as fresh water wash off area. Will definitely go back.
