The Croatan National Forest offers multiple opportunities for recreation including swimming, boating, fishing, and camping. This trail is well-shaded, but can still get pretty warm and mosquito-ridden in the summer, so be sure to pack plenty of water and bug spray. Please note that dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
