Jomeokee and Sassafras Trails
Jomeokee and Sassafras Trail is a moderately easy, 1.5-mile hike in Pilot Mountain State Park that will take about 80 minutes to complete with Fido. These two dog-friendly trails offer great vantage points of Pinnacle, NC's 200-foot lone rock mountain. The Jomeokee circles the entire base of the mountain, while the Sassafras lets you get a look from a distance. Please note that dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
