    Beautiful Hike

Moderate hike with some uphill and downhill slopes. The views of the falls are worth the trip, nice to stop at base of falls too for a water break and cool off.

    Pawsome day chasing waterfalls

The trails are well kept and the hiking is pretty easy to moderate so almost any pup could enjoy this hike! The waterfalls are absolutely breathtaking.

    High Falls Loop

We did the High Falls Loop late on a summer afternoon and made it back just before the afternoon rain came in. Very shaded and lots of opportunities for quick dips in the river. Our dog Maddie loved it!

    amazing waterfalls!

We hiked the High Falls Trail. The hike is moderate with some decent inclines. For the experienced hiker no big deal but for everyone else a decent workout. When the water is low you can walk on the rocks along the water all the way to get close to the Falls. . Amazing! There’s also a stairs leading you down to the Falls. Less dog friendly if you have a dog who doesn’t walk stairs.
High Falls is a pretty decent climb uphill. The view is amazing on top. If you’re not up for a big incline take the loop and decent to the base of the waterfall. You get super close to the waterfall and this was an absolute highlight for my teenagers.

    awesome views

This hike is perfect for the the fall and not too much incline/decline so older dogs would probably enjoy it as well!

great hike for kids and fido

Went early on a week day and it was not very crowded. There's were many people with dogs and kids of all ages. Couple of picnic areas, as well. Enjoyed this so much more than any hikes in the smokies, especially as these are dog-friendly!
