Francis Shrader Old Growth Trail is a pet-friendly path in Gold Beach, OR. It's a moderately easy, 1.5-mile hike in Siskiyou National Forest that will take about 1 hour to complete with Fido. Signs of logging operations are prevalent on the drive to this trail. Hiking this short trail will be a pleasant escape to enjoy the unspoiled forest and its blooming rhododendron.     Nice Nature Walk

    Easy hike for 2 dogs and a deconditioned owner. There is a map at the start of the loop. Just check that you start at the correct trail head. We parked and didn’t realize we needed to cross the street first.
