Larch Mountain to Multnomah Falls Trail is a moderately easy, 12 mile hike in Mount Hood National Forest that will take about 4 hours to complete with Fido. The picnic area this trail (441) departs from makes a nice spot for a bite to eat before or after your hike. The trail leads along a ridge crest through a peaceful forest. The short walk to Sherrard point from the trailhead is also well worth checking out for its view of the Portland Basin and Columbia River. Please note that dogs must be on leash.
