amazing view worth the hike but definitely don’t recommend bringing a dog not cut out for hiking. Make sure to bring water.

the hike up to towers overlook is long and hot with no water. take care of Fido and bring lots of water. the view from the top wasn’t all that interesting with electric wires and poles.

This is one of our most favorite places to take our 4 year old Chow/Lab mix. There are several trails depending on how hard you want to push yourself. There are normally lots of 4 legged friends around. The Lake Trail is a great one, although we never let her go into the lake itself. There is a doggie water station right when you start the trail closest to the visitors center that pumps out well water. They do state that all dogs must be kept on a leash, but we have encountered a few off leash, but never had any problems. There are restrooms off of a few of the trails and at the visitors center.
There is plenty of parking in several different lots. The place is generally packed with people, but the trails are usually light since there are so many. We haven't made it to the top yet, but hope to soon.

Bow Wow... it is beautiful... CW (dalmation/chiuaua mix) is a short legged little guy and I am an over weight over 40 woman. But we hiked for about an hour on the medium pinnacle trail and then took the cut back to the lake area. It was exercise but it was so beautiful and the people we met were great!!
