    Sunset Beach allows dogs, but they must be leashed at all times. From the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day, dogs are not allowed on the beach from 8am through 6pm. Visit Website

      Pawsome!

      Our 11 year old Golden/Rotti mix LOVED this beach. It was her first time and she loved it. There are public bathrooms that are convenient, a doggie poop bag station (before you enter the beach) in case you forgot! Parking is relatively painless. If you get there early enough to snag a close spot!

      Would say this beach is old dog accessible because there are no stairs to access the beach, only ramps! They have a family/gender neutral public bathroom big enough for your dog as well if you are alone with your dog so you cannot leave them unattended. If your dog got particularly muddy there are outdoor showers to rinse their paws, etc.

      Very good place to spend the day with your dog. Remember to pack water and snacks!

      awesome beach

      Great walking beach for dogs and puppies. Very few shells and not very crowded. Wide enough to play frisbee or ball.
