Railside Dog Park
Railside Dog Park

Description

In 2010 the CHNA raised funds to start the only Downtown Atlanta off-leash dog park, thanks in large part to the 2-acre parcel donation by land owner Jerry Miller. Recent additions, such as benches are thanks to Besharat Gallery. The park combines our creative talents — from diversion of water from the roof of a nearby building (no future H2O bills) to wood chips donated by Georgia Power and provision for ornamental fencing as a gateway, designed by Castleberry Hill artists.

    Not well maintained

Grass is out of control!!! Has not been mowed in months. Besides that the trash can is overflowing and I saw beer bottles and broken glass. However it is a nice size park and I was all alone, so not a good place to try and socialize your dog.

Nice dog park close to home

My 2 Shar Peis here been here several times this month. It's clean, the grass is neatly trimmed and it's not crowded. The level ground is good for frisbee and other toss games. Street parking is convenient. It's great having a nice dog park that is close to home.
