      Would not recommend for a dog outing.

      I was excited to find Crossroads mall on this website as I am trying to socialize my dog. However, there is no indication that dogs are actually allowed. I expected a “Dog Welcome on Leash” sign, or something of that sort. Nonetheless we went in and the main doors open to a busy food court. Since my dog is very food oriented this less than thrilled me so we moved on quickly. The rest of mall was pretty dead but I never saw a store that welcomed dogs or any indication they are welcome in the mall in general. Another reviewer mentioned a Petco but if there ever was one in crossroads mall, it’s no longer there.

      Of course the individual stores in the mall are free to have their own dog policies, but the public inside mall area is an excellent place for dogs. When temperatures reached 110+, Crossroads Mall was about the only safe place to walk a dog. Some vendors actually set dog water bowls out.

      Another reviewer seemed to lower the rating based on what individual stores are doing, not distinguishing between the public mall area and individual stores which can set their own rules.

      Dog Friendly? Not exactly

      I saw on this site that Crossroads is dog friendly, and stopped by to do some shopping. PetCo (obviously) allows dogs, and Michael's does too. JoAnn's, no! Daiso has very, very large signs saying no. I suspect that Sally's Beauty does allow dogs, but more on a case-by-case basis–I'm only guessing. If you can, carry your dog through the parking lot. Even if it's not busy, there seems to be a lot of distracted drivers.
