A favorite dog park in Huntsville

This has to be my favorite dog park so far that I have visited in the Huntsville area. People who come to this park are generally friendly and obey the rules which is why it’s one of my favorite as I have had to leave other dog parks in the area due to very aggressive dogs. So as far as the park itself the small dog area is OK and the large dog area is huge there’s water bowls and running water in the dog areas. The park has plastic pools for the dogs to play in on hot days. The park is right next to a train tract and it can be VERY loud when the train comes by. There’s also homeless that will sit under the bypass inside the large dog park (iv had them walk in and out and leave both gates open which thankfully I was able to close them before any dogs ran out while I was sitting in the small area watching). There’s also a skate park right across from the dog park and the parking on the weekends can be tight.Overall it’s a decent park mainly because of the regulars who come here who follow the rules and have very socialized friendly dogs and the mud here isn’t as bad as some of the local parks after a rain.

Great park for dogs! The ppl r nice, most ppl clean up after their dogs, but some do not. My dog loves this park. He loves to run around with other dogs.

    Mediocre Park

This is basically just fencing under the highway. The grass was not kept. The only shading was directly under the highway bridge. We won't be coming back here since there are better dog parks in the area.

    great dog park!

This dog park is divided in two different parks, a small one for dogs under 25 pounds a big one for dog over 25 pounds. The small one looked great, my puppy is over 25 but it look good and clean! The big one is huge, there is a few benches for us humans. The park is really easy to find!! Everyone there is so great! My dog had the best time there. It was a little muddy since it had been raining a few days ago. But hey pup had fun that's the most important thing.

    Dog Spot

My Cairn loves to go there. The only problem is there is a shortage of benches in the small area, however, I keep a chair in the car so that avoids any problems. I have gone to the Creekwood Dog Park and like it too. Dog Spot is closer to me and that is where her friends go.
