Is a small beach but everyone had fun and the dogs all played well and really enjoyed the water. The dogs were all people friendly, the dock area does go into the water before you reach the beach (which prevents dogs from easily leaving the area), there weren't any benches in the sand area, but it was clean. Near the end of our stay, someone drove a small boat up to the sand to let their dog play, given it's a small beach as it is, this was annoying as well as a possible safety concern as dogs swim in a wide area around the beach, most boats stayed further out. Overall a great experience.

Once we finally figured how to enter and park, we had fun. There should be some kind of sign indicating the way to the dog beach. We asked a few people and no one knew of it. We kept getting directed to Montrose Dog Beach. Finally a dog walker told us we were almost there. Perfectly small for our 10 lb dog. He was afraid at first, but he actually swam.

The best beach we been to starting east coast, shallow ,not to ruff to swim and dive , but to many little dogs that all they do just bark for no reason and trying to chase a big dogs. Otherwise , is perfect , wish will be more land to it or more beaches like that ,specially in the hot summer like that.

The dog beach here is a little small for the amount of people that bring their dogs there. People bring too many big dogs and then they run in packs and trample over the small dogs. But, it is still in a good location and kept clean.

This dog park is great! A gently sloping beach allow dogs like mine to splash in the shallows without getting submerged, while dogs who do like to swim still have the opportunity if they choose. There's plenty of room to throw a tennis ball, and the sand gives dogs a chance to dig without getting muddy! It is not as crowded as some other dog parks. My only recommendation: it would be nice to have a bench on which to sit as well as temporarily place my jacket, coffee, dog leash.
