BEST PARK EVER- Check a map before you arrive

as my title states: best park ever. it’s 5 fenced-in acres of lush grass, no one was at the dog park when we came, we had it to ourselves. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and get acclimated with the park before you arrive. check their website, look it up on a map to see where the location of the fenced in dog area is in relation to the parking lot. I, personally, I could see the fenced in area from my car after I parked, but if I hadn’t it would have been tricky to pinpoint. also do yourself a favor: come here, bring fido, and have fun :)

One of the best dog parks I’ve seen

The title says it! my only negative is that we walked 2 miles on the trails before finding out the gated dog park was directly behind the playground in the field. Beautiful hike with lots of rabbits though!

    Great Dog Park!

Today I wanted to check out this park and like everyone else said, it was hard to find until I asked someone. They pointed me in the right direction. Once I found it, I was impressed! When you see the playground, go behind the playground and keep going straight where you'll see a mowed path. That will take you straight down to the dog park. I will definitely go again.

    (Nearly) Dog Heaven

This is one of the most beautiful dog parks I have ever been in - huge area, lush grass, gorgeous surroundings. The walk on the mowed path through the meadow smelled heavenly, with waist-high wildflowers and wildlife vegetation. The dogs and I could have stayed for hours.

Negatives? Nearly non-existent signage to direct visitors where to park, or even where to walk to access the gated areas. No water available (perhaps a sign advising at the playground with a spigot and dog waterer?) No poop bags. No posted rules (Time-out or Time-To-Go, please scoop the poops, etc). a bit of a trek for older/physically disadvantaged pooches and humans (14 year old Lab was exhausted by the time we reached the car again).

So is there even a fenced in area here? I came because when my dog is off a leash she will run and not come back for an hour. That's why I like fenced in areas. I did not see one. Even walking the paths. 😡

Great for dog, people not so much

This is a nice park, but is not handicapped accessible. Path from parking to dog area is just a field that has been mowed. Is rough and very uneven. There are parts that the incline would be unsafe for wheel chairs or scooters. Doggie area is awesome, well maintained. My staffordshire terrier loved it,

    Hidden gem

We loved it here! I only gave it 4 bones because it was very difficult to find. There were no signs. Except for a small one past the pavilion off of the driveway. And there was no water for the dogs :/. By the way to find it, go to the green pavilion, walk past it and you will see the tiny wood sign in the left of the trail, follow the trail down to the park.

About a week ago a group of me and my friends went to this dog park, I have a three and a half month old lab, who recently passed from the horrible disease parvo, now my friends dog that was also brought along is starting to show the same symptoms my puppy did before she passed, we have high reason to believe it was from this park, as beautiful as it is, we want others to be aware of this HIGHLY contagious disease that rapidly destroys your animal. Please be aware.

    Does anybody go here?

It took me a while to find the park at all. At the entrance of the park there isn't any directions to the dog park. I only found it by asking a worker that happened to be there. We had to walk about a 5 minute walk to the park, which wasn't too bad, and you're there to give dogs exercise anyways. The park itself has two sides and they are the biggest I have seen, but there is nothing there. Not even a water source (yes, understandable, it is in a field). I wish there was a page I could have visited that said there isn't a water source. I only stayed for 5 minutes because my dogs were so hot after the hike there. Lastly, every time I have visited, there are no other dogs there. I bring my dogs to socialize, not to exercise. I have lots of land they can do that on. That has been disappointing. If dogs showed up, I could see that this would be a great park. Just remember to bring a jug of water and a bowl.

    Great

It was a little bit of a trek to get to the dog park entrance, signs were posted to guide us there. plenty of places to dispose of trash, with bags available. there was also benches placed in the shade. I thought it was a nice park with plenty of room for the dogs to run and play.

    Ruff start

We weren't really sure where to go when we got there, and got lost a few times because there weren't any signs throughout the trails. I also cannot use up too much energy walking around because I have a medical condition. Once we got there it was great my dog loved it and so did I. But had to take a breather on the way back to the car. Again, great place but there needs to be more signs showing where to go.

    Dog Park

Receives 5 Bones from me! It is the closest dog park to me. I am so happy it opened! Lots of room for the dogs to run. Seperated by dog size. Only downfall is that its on a hill.
