    Best Idea Ever!

My babygirl had a blast at this park this past Saturday!! I plan on taking her at least once a week. The park is HUGE and has three different areas for big dogs and small dogs. It even has bath stations in case your pup goes for a swim at the side with the pond :) I’d give it ten stars if possible!

My GSD Service Dog Attacked By Pit-bull!

My German Shepard Service Dog was trying to stop a Pit-bull dog, who was about the size of my German Shephard, grabbed hold my dog's ear and would not let go causing significant injury and bite wounds to my dog! The owner (a white male, slender, 5'10" to 6'2" tall, former USAF, receding hairline and also has another smaller Pit-bull dog) repeatedly was kicking his dog with great force in the stomach! Up until the dog physically attacked my service dog, he continually went after my dog as well as other dogs in the park only to physically reprimanded my owner, who could not control this dog. No wonder the dog is so aggressive because the owner would kick and hit him! Never will go there again. Also, only 50% of people picked-up their dog's poop. Yuck!

    Great place for dogs

We take our dachsunds to the small dog park and there's plenty of room for them, with lots of trees. Trashbag stations/cans, water fountain are available. No pools/water access from here. For the humans, a walking path has been created along the fence. The large dog side is bigger with lots of trees; it has access to a section with a HUGE water feature with pier and fountain and more acreage. The big dogs love it but I wouldn't take my little's in there - too busy. When we can go in there, our doxies love to hang out in the tree/bush grove sniffing out rabbits and squirrels.

Because this is in a city park setting, bathrooms are located across the parking lot. A longer walking path, good for dogs, circles the entire park for an added benefits.

    Best Ever

My only complaint is I wish it was closer to were I live. It has two large dog areas and a big small dog area. My collie loved being able to have lots of room to run. And then there's an area to rinse the mud off before you leave. There was an intense sounding dog fight while we were there, but no one got hurt.

    relaxed and dog gone fun

I have been bringing my 3 dogs to this park for 6 months. My dogs swim and play in the pond area and the large dog park and have never been sick. The park is closed on Tuesdays for cleaning until 4 pm so remember that little fact. Grounds outside are well kept by the town crews and there are a few minor maintenance issues but what place doesn't. It gets muddy after heavy rain but it is Texas!!!
    For the complainers, go elsewhere

Lots of fun for your dog!

Cedar Park Park is one of the coolest public dog parks here in Austin. Not just for it's large swimming area, shaded awnings, dog playground equipment, or bathing stations but also because it is one of the best overall designed dog parks around town. Check out my quick tips to help you have a great time with your canine companion.

    Cedar BARK Park

The 5-acre dog park is amazing. The large dog area has a pier and pond that is flushed weekly, and Tuesday, they lose the Park for maintenance where they treat the water like a pool would. You can only bring 2 dogs per person because you have to pick up after your pets. It is worth visiting. The City will do some improvements next year on the erosion but it is great, lots of trees, shade, and benches. Dog showers are great!. There is a dog fest April 25, 2015, 10 am - 2 pm

    Favorite.. By Far

We have ventured around to several dog parks in downtown Austin, Cedar Park and Round Rock- this by far is our favorite. We have never had an issue with our dog getting sick from the water, and our pup is always tired and happy when we leave. We usually come once a week, and have yet to have a negative experience. Would recommended for any dog, any size as the park is nicely divided so all dogs can enjoy play time without getting picked on.

    Loved It

We took our little dog to the park and it was her first visit ever to a dog park. After she got used to it, she seemed to enjoy it. We thought the park was wonderful. I kept looking to step on a "land mine" but was thankful that the place was well taken care of and did not smell bad.... at least on the little dog side. There is even an area where you can clean up your dog if it happens to get dirty. The big dog side does have a lake, but I am reading some not so good reviews here. I did see where some people had their little dogs on the big dogs side. Didn't think that was such a good idea. Anyway, loved the little dog side and will for sure be visiting again!! Very nice park!!!

    Be careful

My dog got sick from the lake. Although it seems to be filtered, the water is very muddy. The area for small dogs is nice with shaded benches and trails, but the large dog area is mostly bare ground. My dog also picked up a tick while she was there so be careful! Also, vaccinations don't seem to be required for entry, unlike other dog parks.

    Wagging Tails & Trails

Wonderful dog park! It has plenty of room for large and small dogs. Four paws up for the enclosed areas, pond and doggie water fountains. Our dogs had the best time running and playing with all the other dogs and their owners. This is a 4 Paws up Park!

    Needs fixing

My dogs get sick everytime they swim in the pond. It is a nice concept, but it was not preperly designed. I don't know if the answer is better filtration or aearation of the pond, but it just doesn't work. Our vet has advised us to stay away as they have had several dogs have similar issues here. It's too bad as our dogs really enjoy running around.

    dog park

it is great...but no enforcement of park rules. for example, I saw a women come into the park, by herself, with FIVE dogs and the rules say a person can only bring two. her license plate number is cv9r490....

    4 paws up!

This is an awesome dog park! My wife and I took our 4 month old American Bulldog to play on Saturday. We had a lot of fun mingling with all the other dog owners and their k9 kids! Mila (our bulldog) had a blast with all the other dogs socializing and running around. She also had her first experience learning to swim in the dog lake!
