    Nice place

I went there today 12 17 23 with my doberman Ruby she had an awesome time playing with dogs of all sizes. This place is easy to get to and I will definitely bring Ruby here again.

    Sand

Wanted to hit up a dog park and avoid the beach sand...this park is basically beach sand with dead weeds that were tufts of grass months ago. Limited shade mid day. Nice sized area for small dogs - maybe 150' by 100'?. Slightly larger side for large dogs. Seating. No water or restrooms. Free parking.

    Great spot!

Great location with energetic and good natured doggos. has shade, sun, grass, sand, and plenty of space.

    I love this park

i noticed a lot of the negative reviews are from ages ago. this has quickly become my favorite dog park. The owners here actually observe their dogs heavily while playing, which create peace of mind for everyone else. The big dog park is half and half grassy area, which is awesome because if you’re trying to redirect bad digging behaviors in grass with your dog, you can bring them over to the Sandy area. Sometimes the trashcan can be full, but it doesn’t stay that way long. And unlike other dog parks with mostly wood chips, my dog doesn’t leave here covered in dirt.

    Decent Dog Park

For the area it is a decent dog park. It is an old baseball field with about 30% covered in sand. The rest is damaged grass with some gopher holes so it's not kept up by the city really.

But for what it is, it works and is a nice size. If you're a local it's worth visiting, if you're traveling it's nothing special.

    Just no

I don't understand why people like this park? I adopted a dog a few months ago and wanted to find a nice dog park where he could safely be off-leash and to socialize. The first thing I saw (or I should say "smelled") was a garbage can, at the entrance gate, that was overflowing with feces and garbage. It was disgusting! The park was just okay, but very sandy. Personally, I love Pachetti Dog Park in Seaside. It's clean and has wood chips instead of just dirt.

    Bad Gate

This park wasn't what I expected, but it wasn't all bad. The real problem was the gate. The latch just "kind of" holds the gate shut, and there is no double-gated holding pen like a real dog park. This is just an old, fenced in ballpark in a residential neighborhood. The parking lot is very small and tight. I found no bags for picking up after pets (fortunately, I always bring my own) and only one trash can inside the park. The size of the park is nice. My two large dogs were able to run and play fetch until they were tired. There is limited shade in this park and nowhere to sit. Seems like donating some benches or cheap lawn chairs would be a great improvement. There is also no water at this park. It is as though the dog park was an afterthought (it clearly was) and they haven't quite commited to the conversion. The grass is great, but this park needs a gate makeover!

Excellent dog park. Has everything I need. A little rough around the edges, but that means it is more fun to take care of it.

Has grass in little dog section, has sand and grass in the all dog section. Shade, water (brought by a kind dog owner, I assume), trash cans, tennis balls...its all there. Bring your own bags, or use the scoop that is provided.

It is my dogs favorite dog park....and we go to A LOT of dog parks - he has visited 34 dog parks so far.
