nice, wide open area with some good trails

this is a really nice Park, lots of parking and a food truck for both you and your dog. The only thing I have always had an issue here is that many people do NOT pick up after their dogs, possibly because they either think the tall grass will hide it or they're lazy. access to the river as well, but it can be quite muddy after rain and when the snow melts.

    Great trail

Lots of space to run and play, dog friendly food truck and great view. Dog park at the front is a great place to socialize. Food truck provided delicious treats. Nice sights all around. Beware of cyclists.

    Lots of space and trails!

Loads of space, trails and has water access in more than one spot. It can get busy at peak times and is also considered a bike park and an off leash dog park. You can spend hours here where you can find quiet trails or go to the large field to find people and dogs enjoying the park.

    Very popular

    Season visited: all
Pros: LOTS of space, if your dog is nervous there's definitely the ability to find some privacy. Humans can get a decent work out walking around the perimeter as well! Food truck with both human and dog treats during busy times.
Cons: well-loved so very popular on weekends, etc. Is a shared space so dogs must be friendly with bicyclists, etc. Does border the river, be cautious about ice in winter/spring. Coyote/beaver presence nearby depending on season.
Busy-ness: depends on weather, weekday, lots of room in general
Tips: If doing trails in winter, ice cleats/crampons a good idea

    Trails AND Open Spaces!

Huge park with trails and open spaces. Fields to throw a ball, long and short trails to explore, rivers and ponds to play in - this has it all for your four-legged friend!
