Napatree Point Conservation Area Dogs are welcome on the beach at the pet-friendly Napatree Point Conservation Area in Westerly, RI, during certain times of the year. Pets are prohibited from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, May 2 through Labor Day. The rest of the year, registered leashed pups are allowed anytime. Dogs are not permitted in roped-off areas, and guests must clean up after Fido during their visit; waste bins are located at the entrance to the beach. See Details

But from April 1st through the second Sunday in September, dogs are prohibited under state regulations and environmental protection laws.
