Sachuest Beach (locally known as Second Beach) in Middletown, RI is pet friendly with restrictions. Starting May 1 until September 30, leashed dogs are only allowed on the beach from 5:00 AM to 7:45 AM. The Rhode Island National Wildlife Refuge sections are not pet friendly in order to preserve the local animal populations.
