This fenced-in area allows dogs to swim and play off-leash. Swimming by humans is not allowed at the park. Dog Beach of Hollywood Head out to the Dog Beach of Hollywood where all members of your family, canines included, can enjoy fun at the beach. The dog beach is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, year-round. Hours are 3:00 pm-7:00 pm, November through May, and 5:00 pm-9:00 pm, April through October. Daily passes and six-month passes are available from a park ranger during dog beach hours or The Department of Recreation and Cultural Arts, 1405 S. 28th Avenue. The Dog Beach of Hollywood is monitored by a park ranger, however, good dog park etiquette is highly encouraged regardless. Aggressive dogs are not tolerated, and owners are expected to clean up their dog’s waste. Furthermore, dogs are not allowed on the beach outside the designated hours or location. See Details
Haulover Beach Park Haulover Beach Park in Miami Beach features a bark park with an enclosure for small dogs (less than 35 lbs.) and large dogs (over 35 lbs.) located near the south picnic area. Entrance to the bark park is through parking lot #3 located on the west side of Collins Avenue if traveling southbound or through parking lot #4 located on the east side of Collins Avenue if traveling northbound. The bark park features shade trees, picnic tables, and drinking fountains for both dogs and their companions, as well as doggie waste bag dispensers and waste containers. The park is open daily from 8am to 4pm in the designated beach area between lifeguard tower #2 and #3 only. Dogs are welcome with their companion on the portion of the beach directly across from the bark park and accessible through parking lots #3 and #4. Fido is welcome to romp along the sand in the designated pet-friendly area between lifeguard towers 18 and 20. Bark Beach is open to four-legged visitors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7am - 9am year round, 3pm - sunset (November - February), and 5pm - sunset (March - October). There is even a city officer on site to help with any problems and rule enforcement at the beach. The beach is close to the road, but officer and dunes are both between the beach and the road, so really, the only issue is parking. The beach is only open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
