Pet Friendly Nahant Doggie Beach
Nahant Doggie Beach Dogs are welcome on the beach from October 1st through April 30th as long as they are leashed. They are strictly prohibited the rest of the year. See Details

Singing Beach Known for sand that makes a noise when walked on dry, Singing Beach welcomes licensed and vaccinated dogs from October 15 through April 14. There is a $5 per person walk-on fee charged from 9am to 5pm when the staff is on duty. Owners are asked to clean up after their dogs, keep an eye on them, and maintain verbal control when they are playing off-leash. Each person is allowed to bring two dogs with them to the Beach, and pets must be wearing collars with identification. Those who violate Singing Beach's rules are subject to fines, and dog owners are liable for injuries and damages caused by their pets. For parking information, see Singing Beaches' official website. Squantum Point Park The old Naval Air Station has paved paths along the old runways, and one unpaved path, to a beach at the northwest tip of the peninsula. This small beach is 1/2 mile from the parking lot and lies across Dorchester Bay from UMass. There is a leash requirement in the park, but friendly dogs play and swim at the beach when there are no other people there. PLEASE ALWAYS clean up after your dog so that we can continue to use this spot! There are trash barrels but you have to bring your own bag. See Details
Riverhead Beach Riverhead Beach is pet-friendly. Located on Marblehead Harbor, across the Causeway from Devereux Beach, the area spans 1.65-acres and offers a beach area and a boat ramp. It's a great place for dogs to run and play during low tide. Dogs must be leashed and all mess should be cleaned up after them. See Details
